Thank You Gift for You or a Friend

One of the greatest gifts I have received recently from the readers of my book is the gift of THEIR words. Here are some of them:

“This is now my favorite book! Amazing!”

“This is such a good book! You know the familiar review, ‘I laughed, I cried.’ Well, I did. It was so entertaining, had quite a few surprises, let some things stay unresolved much like life, but more than that, it is filled with wisdom and important insights for teens and even adults.”

"Relationships can be very hard to maintain and keep. This book shows a lot about that. Heartbreaking and amazing, it breaks into tiny pieces to put itself back together again. I loved the main character who had to go through so much pain. She was brave! OMG, I actually want to cry right now. All in all, this book was fantastic. It was so relatable and breathtaking. BUY IT PEOPLE, BUY IT."

"STICKS AND STONES is a very heart wrenching story that will have you pulling out the Kleenex. Your heart will be broken for Emily and Jared. The story is written so well that it has you feeling everything that Emily feels, and it will rip your heart out. But then your heart will be swelling so big, and you will be so proud of Emily. STICKS AND STONES is one of those stories that will stay with you for a long time to come.

I highly recommend STICKS AND STONES to everyone, even if you are not a religious person. It is a great story, and the characters are all so wonderful."

"Young adults and adults alike will enjoy this well-written, engaging story of Emily Green who moves in with her grandmother after her mother is arrested. It seems like things keep getting worse for Emily, but with her grandmother's guidance, Emily discovers that despite the hardships, God is walking beside her. The book will likely cause some tears as it takes some unexpected turns, but it will also make you cheer for Emily and her amazing strength. Worth the read."

When I wrote Sticks and Stones, my greatest desire was to impact those who read it in a positive way, to inspire them somehow with the story of Emily and her grandmother, Crazy Carol, to show them that other people’s opinions and actions don’t define them, that hope can be found in difficulties, and that even when things are uncertain and don’t resolve neatly, there is still a God who is with us and loves us unconditionally.

I am SO THANKFUL these messages are coming across, and I am so grateful for those who have told me how the book has impacted them. These words truly inspire me as a writer and encourage me to get going with my next book, which reminds me of another favorite reaction from a dear friend who I can trust to be honest and real with me:

“I’m invested in these characters, so put down that coffee and get to work!”

That was all it took to get me going on book number two. (More on that later!)

So, in the spirit of gratitude, I’d like to offer a free copy of Sticks and Stones to you or someone you know who you think might like this book. It's one thing I can do right now to bring more hope and positive thoughts to people during this time.

If interested, click on the CONTACT tab at the top of my website (diannebeck.com) and send me a message saying you would like the gift for yourself or someone you know.

I will randomly select five people and contact them on where to send the book.

I hope this will truly bless you or someone you know. Thank you readers and friends!
